Duke Energy Fall Reedy Riversweep

Duke Energy Fall Reedy Riversweep

September 16th 2017 ( 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM )

It would not be possible to keep the river beautiful without your help.  We will be removing trash and debris from the river and riverbank. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to contribute to an ongoing restoration project on Richland Creek, a tributary of the Reedy River located next to the Greenville Zoo.

Clean-up: 9:00 am ‘til noon. Check in from 8:30 to 9:00am

Two check in points: St. Matthew Methodist church, 701 Cleveland Street, Greenville, SC 29601
Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery, 205 Cedar Lane Road, Greenville, SC 29611

You will be asked to sign a safety waiver (please print and sign waivers attached to the sign-up form) if you haven’t already done so. Minors are welcome to attend the event provided an adult has signed waivers for each child.   After checking in you will be directed to your clean-up site and given any final instructions.

We will have some extra gloves, but please bring some if you have them. Also consider bringing old shoes, or boots that can get wet, long pants, hat and sunscreen, yard clippers or extension arms (please label these items in case they get left behind), as well as your camera. We love pictures!
