Mary Hipp, Board Member
Mary Hipp is a graduate of Washington and Lee University (1990) and Tante Marie’s Culinary School (1995). Mary has worked in restaurants, bed and breakfasts, catering, and has taught Culinary school. When she returned to SC from SF CA in 2005 she turned her interests to the nonprofit sector as board member, volunteer, and consultant. Her focus is on arts, environment, food access, and Great Danes. Mary lives in Greenville, SC with her Great Danes and is active with Greenville Women Giving, Metropolitan Arts Council, and Brookgreen Gardens. She is also a graduate of Leadership Greenville, Leadership SC, Riley Institute of Diversity, and Liberty Fellowship. In addition of being involved with a Great Dane fostering program, Mary is board chair of a new project in the Upstate, Feed and Seed. Feed and Seed’s mission statement is to ensure food security for all residents of South Carolina. Feed and Seed is connecting regional growers and producers with regional demand.
