Sharon is the Watershed Biologist at Renewable Water Resources (ReWa). In this role, she supports ReWa's efforts and programs associated with watershed planning, stream monitoring and land resources development to promote protection, restoration, and enhancement of natural resources. Prior to joining ReWa, Sharon has worked for both civil engineering consultants and municipalities with a focus on water quality, stormwater, environmental permitting, and watershed ecology.
Sharon attended Clemson University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries and Wildlife Biology with a minor in Environmental Science and Policy. She also received her Master Naturalist certification through Clemson University Extension in 2019. She is a member of the Upstate Master Naturalist Association, Water Environment Association of South Carolina (WEASC), and a past chair of the Blue Ridge Foothills District of the WEASC.
Sharon is passionate about water quality, watershed health, and flora/fauna relationships in the ecosytem. In her free time, Sharon can be found hiking, backpacking, running, cycling, and enjoying nature. She has two dogs and enjoys camping and exploring with them. Sharon is also an avid National Park fan, visiting multiple parks each year.
