&lt;p&gt;We&amp;#39\;ll be having our 2018 Fall Reedy Riversweep this Saturday\, Sept. 15\, from 8-noon!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Our volunteers&amp;#39\; safety is paramount\, and we continue to keep a watchful eye on the weather forecast. The Saturday morning forecast calls for overcast skies with moderate winds. If we perceive any dangerous river conditions\, we&amp;#39\;ll stay out of the water and focus our efforts on picking up trash from and around the river and removing non-native\, invasive plants from the riverbanks.&amp;nbsp\;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;If dangerous high winds or a severe downpour occurs\, we&amp;#39\;ll cancel the clean-up and notify by social media.&amp;nbsp\;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;At check in you will be asked to sign &lt;strong&gt;2&lt;/strong&gt; waivers\; we encourage participants to please fill out these waivers (sent via email by Friends of the Reedy River) and bring with them to help speed up the check in process.&amp;nbsp\;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Volunteers will be assigned to a specific clean-up site led by a Site Leader. A short drive is required from &lt;a href=&quot;http://stmatthewumc.net/&quot;&gt;St. Matthew United Methodist Church&lt;/a&gt; to some clean-up sites. Directions to sites &amp;amp\; parking instructions will be distributed at check in.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;What to Wear/Bring:&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;li&gt;Long pants/old sneakers you don&amp;#39\;t mind getting dirty&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Hats\, bug spray\, and sunscreen are highly recommended&lt;/li&gt;
