Catch Friends of the Reedy River at the 2019 Duck Derby in Falls Park on May 4th, 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM!
FoRR will have a booth during the event so come find us, say hi & learn what we've been up to recently for preserving the Reedy River!
FoRR will also be selling ducks for the Duck Derby before the event & during the event. Ducks are $10 each or 5 ducks for $30. By adopting a duck, a duck with a specific number is assigned to your name and that duck enters into the race down the falls in Falls Park! By adopting a duck, not only are you supporting Friends of the Reedy River but you are also entering in for the chance to win $1,000,000, 1 free year of groceries from Publix or a cash prize of $2,500!!

These are the available volunteer openings for the Duck Derby:
- Duck retrieval from the river after the event (with FoRR!)
- "River Guards" to help keep the public out of the river while the ducks are racing
- Help wash ducks after the event, held off-site at a local car wash
