On Saturday, September 2 the Reedy River turned bright green. The Greenville Police Department said a non-toxic dye, usually used to track sewer leaks, was placed into the river as a prank. Upstate students construct, donate canoe for Reedy River conservation

Since September, students and mentors from the Greenville Woodworkers Guild have met once a week to shape a large piece of cypress wood into a canoe and then launched it into the Reedy.
